Rug Facts You Need to Know!
Keep the following in mind as you get creative, and let your imagination fly! 
What you see, is approximately what you get…approximately is the key word here. After all, our rugs are made from cowhides…a purely natural product. Colors, borders, overall sizes are all approximate. Cowhides are hand dyed, hand cut, and so on. Made with the utmost attention to personal detail, and respect to artistic designs.
  Color:
 
  • colors will vary from computer screen to real life
  • colors in real life can also vary in different dye lots– please request a cutting for approval
    •   Sizing:
     
  • exact finished size is an approximate finished size due to hand work involved
    •   Borders:
     
  • borders will overlap by approximately 1”, therefore a 4” border adds 3” to each size
  • borders with a length on one side of over 4 feet may be pieced together in various locations with hidden stitching
    •   Squares:
     
  • the direction of the fur on each square will be random to ensure a beautiful, natural pattern – with exception to “Tiger” and “Zebra” Cavallini, where direction will need to be specified
  • the product we call “Cavallini - Exotic Natural” (C30) will range from solids to multi colors from white to black to brown…we cannot control the variations on each square…after all it is natural, nature’s gift!
    •   Other:
     
  • all stitching will be produced self colored to the patchwork squares – if multi colored, stitch will go dark
  • all rugs are produced with a black fabric backing stitched on to size
  • all rugs designs created, saved, sent, and/or posted to the Edelman Leather Gallery remain the property of Edelman Leather
