Originating in Russia, this special leather was lost at stormy sea in 1786...salvaged over 200 years later. The tannage for RUSSIAN LEATHER uses only the barks of willow trees. The oils penetrate the hides throughout the long process creating "CUOIO de RUSSIA", with an old fashioned smell. The unique grain is developed by milling and rubbing waxes and dyes into the hides. The look is historic.
